Had expected FDA decision on Amevive to clear the air one way or the other. But BGEN now says it has always said approval is expected at year end or first quarter 2003.

So, I no longer think movement in biotech stocks will drift until an August FDA Amevive decision. Year end is too far away of an event to influence the entire sector, until then.

Some other seminal event will be needed to cause a rally or wash out decline. Thought it would be final word on Amevive but apparently not.
