The Motorola near-zero IF i.300 chipset powers the Motorola A820, a yet unamed handset to be exclusively provided to Hutchison Whampoa for six months and the Siemens' dual mode phones.

Is the i.300 really zero IF? I read through the links and didnt see a comment about ZIF or direct conversion. Also, I dont think the A820 is based on the i.300....it is actually the other way around, the i.300 will be based on the chipset architecture that is in the A820.

Of course, just to show how scatter-brained I am, I had forgotten that Motorola had stated that the A820 will have a talk time of 100 minutes....and I'm the one who posted that article :).

I'm going to call IR in an hour or so and try and get clarification on the sampling schedule MSM6200. I am going to be pretty disappointed (and more than a little angry) if the schedule from two weeks ago is wrong.

Dennis,

<< QCOM 6200 ... 111 >>

Just wondering ...

Should 111 be 111/111? <g>

... or we could throw in the MSM6300 in which case we could have 111/111/111. <ggg>
