He said an easy 5 points in 3 days. It already has 3.5 today. Seems like a reasonable prediction. It's just moving in the opposite direction, that's all.

some market notables today from a jackass perspective

two weeks ago Biogen (BGEN) won approval of a psoriasis drug by the increasingly cautious and stodgy FDA
its stock jumped about15-18% that day to near 40
today it reported slack forward guidance etc etc etc
stock is now back to 30

for the last two months, broker analysts have pumped Intel
Intel itself offered decent forward guidance at last qtrly earnings release
now they own up to shitty pre-warning on Q2
but the coward deceivers blame much of it on US$/Euro translations
what a cheap blamegame trick to pin it on Europe's exchange

meanwhile, Nortel (NT) chart looks like a patient who is comatose
if this former star goes bankrupt, it will make big waves

on the economic front, nonfarm payroll data was more of the same
they revised down last month's number
and offered a decent number for this month
my view is they guess their asses off, then impose reality after the fact
pure number spinning, with political motivation
Bureau of Labor Statistics is replete with stat hacks
I used to know one after gradschool days
they grabbed the 2nd and 3rd tier on capability measures

NazComp is sitting more perilously now, staring at its precipice
1500 has been a good support area after panics
this time though, no panic, just a slow bleed
despite all the moronic talk about 2nd Half Recovery
how many years do numbnut investors believe this crapp?
