Nope, I didn't smash oxygen and hydrogen atoms to get water.

I combined them while I was in outer space to make water for drinking and heat for warmth.

Oxygen atoms when smashed might give you isotopes of lithium and boron. Smashed hydrogen you might give sub-atomic particles. But when the right isotopes of hydrogen atoms are "fused" we have thermonuclear fusion and a lot of heat and light will be released.

If the West succeeds in fusing heavy hydrogen at relatively low costs, it will leave the oil-producing Moslem countries pdq!

FWIW, Sollog at sollog.com predicts nuclear terrorism will occur in Israel, then in Rome and Washington.
