I agree with the "what if" comment.

I don't know know why anyone buys gold, but they do.

$400 to $500 is a stones throw away.

BIG investors were buying gold the past few months.

Profitable, unhedged gold stocks put in cup and handle patterns recently and since doubled (though recently I have short term sell signals on those stocks. I don't know how far they will come down but, I am expecting a correction).

Cup and handle patterns usually have "longer" term implications (months to years), suggesting it's not just a trading abberation.
