In conjunction with your VIX expectation we just aren't getting a washout in prices. Still haven't gotten the prices that I was looking for in my post to you the other day. Perhaps Monday or Tuesday will do it once they have thought about it over the weekend.

Perhaps because everyone was expecting the VIX to spike it will not. Usually when such an indicator becomes mainstream it loses its relevance, and perhaps that is what is happening here.
