Given the developing global situation, people other than investors are buying gold in case they may eventually need it to buy seeds, clubs, loin cloths, etc. <g>

Agree with your comments about why folks are buying gold... institutionalized dishonesty, etc., and as I noted, they are also buying it because of many additional factors. The longer the list, the more reason to maintain some gold positions. (g)
