I read your post carefully before I had responded to it.

I took - "Well, I tried hard to make it clear that I think there should be involvement at all levels; each according to its appropriate sphere of influence. " from and earlier post and "My position is that, every body in our society is "in the business" of protecting kids." from the post I replied to, to mean that you see a federal role in deciding library policy.

I did not specifically take it as meaning that federal marshals should storm libraries, but I don't see constitutional support for any federal role at all, so things would not have to go that far for me to object to federal involvement.

I think I did respond exactly in context. I am not seeking to exaggerate your position or to say that you are being extreme on this issue, but rather I am disagreeing with the non extreme position you are taking.
