The market will go out today either with a whimper or a bang.. Who is betting on fireworks, and who expects a dismal dibble to end the week.... Gold closed down only 30 cents on the day.. Not really significant, and certainly not enough to justify the drops in the gold shares which must be anticipating further drops in gold ... If gold recovers then the shares will have to play catch up. Even harder to explain is the negative price action on PAAS and CDE both pure silver plays. Silver closed even on the day and is still flirting with that $5 level...
