Well good to see the concept that cash is trash still not generally accepted. Biotechs are very different than other companies and the current low interest environment is also unusual. Cash is not trash when one can earn 6 or 7 % on overnight funds and more by extending on the yield curve. absolutely true that cash is required for operating and r & d expenses.

Look anyone can calculate net cash value. Even I can. Few can determine the merits of potential products and pipelines. I sure can't. If people want to believe that you find bargains and value by looking for the largest discount to cash that's fine. Still believe that it is those that know the science that will find the biotechs with real potential irrespective of "cash", "net cash" or "discount to cash".
