Porn is not information. It is not meant to educate. It is meant to feed fantasies and cause arousal. Although "soft porn" can be arty and not particularly objectionable, hard porn is wholly unsuitable for minors, and should be found dubious by most adults. It is generally degrading to woman; it provides an aggressively masculine point of view about sex, deromanticizing it and animalizing it; and feeds fantasies of easy sex, compliant women, and studly men that often veers close to a rape mentality; and it frequently metastasizes, encouraging obsessions with teenagers, bondage, sadism, orgies, and other such things. In small doses, it is imaginable that hard core porn merely acts as a stimulant, and does not corrupt the imagination and perceptions. When immersed in it, one has to wonder how one's psyche is being affected......
