Dear Kevin: That reminds me of a story from my youth. I had a 1958 MGA and met a girl from Atlanta. She asked if I would drive her home to see her parents. I had never been away from home before at that time but as a rash teenager said yes. Well, in those days the damage done by Sherman to Atlanta was still really evident, cannon balls imbedded in railroad trestles and the like. So, we arrive at her home going on dusk. He Dad and Granddad were in the back in a toy SAND BOX and had the entire battle of gettysburg all set up. The proceeded to tell me that if Lee had done this rather then that he would have won, the North would have been demoralized and the South would have sued for peace and we would be living in the Confederate States of America. Being a smart ass teenager I HAD TO SAY yeah, BUT HE DIDNT. With that they THREW me out of the house, now in the dark all alone. I drove all the way back to Fla. but was glad I was a Southerner as if I had said that as a Yankee I suppose they would have killed me. JDN
pS: Never saw the girl again.
