Nadine, there is absolutely no doubt that some set of conservative commentators have decided they will try to undermine the credibility of the Times. In my view, they are suspect precisely because it's so obviously become a mission with them

Pity the poor NY Times, being picked on for no reason at all by these nasty conservative pundits. When all the time the New York Times is continuing its fine tradition of objective paper of record reporting.

Get real. Did you notice that the Times' headline in Kaus's entry was in no way supported by the statistics cited in the article? In the Washington Post, the headline and article matched each other. He didn't even have to find a conservative source to make his point.
