They are universally choosing to have none, one or very few. People are dying out.

Rich people are dying out. No European country even has replacement birth rates, I think. Another reason to favor globalization; rises in development will lower populations.

Thanks for the explanation of water's effect on temperature...but the conclusion is __________? Are the CO2 doomsters onto something or we don't know yet?

A point of clarification. I believe that when you use the term non-linear in your post you are referering to geometrical or exponential functions. I use the term non-linear to refer to system with internal feedback. The former are predictable and the latter are not. My experience is that most exteremist on any issue take the exponential growth and ignore any possible self-corrective feedback. Thus the Internet bubble would grow forever and now we are going to hell in a handbasket.

Perhaps the extermist are responsible for all the hot air they complain about.
