fraid not. don't mistake silly con valley as the benchmark for the rest of the nation. the real cost of living is not declining in most places based on housing plus the real cost of living involves much more than the cost of a roof over ones head. that is the smallest cost for me since and anyone else that has no debt. the cost of basic survival is increasing.

i deal with gov't creative accounting virtually on a daily basis. their greed is only surpassed by our ignorance.

Hi Liz,

Same here in Boston. And real estaters are telling people not to buy condos because we experienced a 40-50% drop in condo price back in 91-92. Now lots of brokers are expressing strong concerns about a housing market crash in the near term future. They did not think so at least early this year.
