The objective criteria of man being able to fully exercise his faculties, and realize his nature as a rational and political animal. Since pre- literate cultures are unable to amass knowledge, have comparatively few amenities, rudimentary art, are full of superstitious anxieties, frequently are despotic, have short life spans, confine their women to childbearing for much of their lives, spend most of their time seeking subsistence, have little cultural memory, and other things along those lines, I am confident that they are broadly inferior.
