Re : bond quotes / $100 / $1000 / int. payments etc. --this is one of those "you are both correct" situations.

A 12.5% coupon bond will pay $6.25 semi-annual interest per $100 face amount of bonds.

But, even though all bond quotes are typically given with 100 being equivalent to "par" value, the minimum trading quantity (in other words ... one bond) is usually $1000.

So, the semi-annual int. payment would be $62.50 with this Leap Wireless bond.
