>All this time... I thought you LOVED the Argentineans

Above all, I loved to see a great game<g>

I lost all respect for the Argentinians at the 90 WC. Then in 94 I had to watch in horror on the stands in Boston taking apart Greece and giving us no mercy. The Argentinian "fans" near us were also very ungrateful....But, hey, look at the bright side, at least we did not do pull of a Saudi 8 feat<g>

Then in 98 I just thougth the English played like heroes to hold them off with ten men and lose in PKs, with Simeone pulling an Oscar like performance...so it was sweet revenge as far as I am concerned<g>

But I 'll take Argentina in the 2nd round before Sweden because I always found the North European soccer as boring as watching baseball<g>

Now I just hope someone beats them before they go all the way and based on what they have shown me so far that will be happening very soon.

I have to ref 3 games in a row tomorrow (two center, one line) so I will let my VCR take over tonight for the first two games. I hope the Brazilians go easy on Bora's lads<g>
