Hi Hawkmoon; Re the new spectre. One of the cool things about the old unit is that it lights up the night sky like a fireworks display. That's an important part of psychological warfare that may be unappreciated by the modern mind.

At least one problem is that lighting up the night sky like a fireworks display isn't very stealthy.

An artillery barrage is also a hell of a fireworks display, and is very effective as a psychological weapon.
