...and he had tears in his eyes... otoh, let's be practical. These debts are uncollectable. So why not make it a real nice gesture and at the same time push Democrats out of this humanitarian corner. Electorate will love us even more - GOP with a human touch - otoh - nobody spends and does so much (at least in USA) for hungry and for Africa as does the religious right. And they make no big fuss out of it.
