I agree with some of your statements on the 60's. This was a case of the pendulum swinging too far to the left. Now, however, I fear it is swinging too far to the right, and similar abuses are liable to happen.

Jane Fonda was a traitor, and finally has admitted to some degree of guilt. Many who protested the war did so within their constitutional rights, but some radicals definitely went over the line. Sort of like the right wing 'dial a rioters' during the Florida election.

I'm not sure you understood what I was saying. Let me try again.

What happened at Enron and at Arthur Andersen ... what's going on in big business after big business in America today ... the "profits uber alles" mentality ... "screw the workers, move to Bermuda and increase our bonuses" ... is more obscene than anything Larry Flynt or Hugh Hefner ever did.

Kent State was the finale to a unique morality drama that played out in America during the '60s and early '70s. The fact that you weren't an adult during Kent State is immaterial. What is important is that you understand the significance of what happened that day ... when Uncle Sam pulled the trigger on four of his children ... and how it impacted the American psyche.

Keep asking yourself this question: "Who really is corrupting America today?"

(Hint: It ain't Barbra Streisand.)
