Duke: Here the courts are being kind to the real gov't supported monopoly the RBOC's while crapping on MSFT which built it's quasi monopoly in the market place. Go figure. What Dan doesn't realize is that the path up to the DISH is via DSL not via radio waves to a satellite. As long as the path to is obstructed by the RBOC's DISH doesn't mean diddly. I know I have tried. Finally I convinced my neighbor at ATT to bring the cable down our road. They installed 200 feet of underground drop to do it. I was amazed. But the RBOC's forget about it. Two analog lines return more revenues on the twisted pairs without any add to new equipment at my end or the CO.JFD
