Strong leaders we already have. It will take good leaders to make peace. Leaders that have personal stakes, not only national ones, in a peace deal.

And that is about where I made a mistake till the last months. I analyzed that Arafat was a professional, a strategist that wanted (among other aspects) to let the stakes go up before sitting down to talk. Be able to push up the monies given or lend by a tenth fold for the price of a few hundred deaths, on each side...
