The right is acknowledged by the Constitution, not granted and the warning is implicit....."do not infringe". This applies to the others also....they are pre-existing and the Constitution merely guarantees the government will not interfere i.e. pass laws that infringe.

You didn't answer the "people" question.

Much the same kind of wording flows in the words of the Declaration of Independence when it says "We hold these truths to be self-evident...certain inalienable rights" What are these inalienable rights if not the rights which the Constitution forbids government to infringe?
