Look, when it comes to VPs, I'm surprised a baboon hasn't run yet. If a prexy candidate finds one that he thinks will help him win, you will see it.

Actually, picking Quayle was a smart move on Bush's part. Who would assassinate him if it meant Quayle would be Prexy?

Do you remember the Quayle Quarterly? It was always a delightful compendium of his most recent miscues and gaffes. In all fairness, I'm not sure the reputation of most politicians could survive such close scrutiny and mass dissemination of pretty run-of-the-mill mistakes.
