So, why are you worried about CO2 levels in the air? At what level do we start dying or breathing harder? We are at 300 parts per million. Is that a worry? Anyway, what's COPD and what's PaO2? The submarine CO2 scrubbers would be to avoid having to breathe too hard and getting the CO2 levels so high that it would be intolerable. It's not much fun in a plastic bag after a couple of minutes! The fact that 7% CO2 is game over for us is irrelevant when we are considering 400 part per million levels. Selenium is poisonous at high levels too, but we actually need the stuff to live. Same for many things. Heck, we can even drown if we get too much water, but it's good stuff to have around. Our lungs are moist [that's my theory anyway, when I see the dew point mist on a cold day when I breathe out] but a litre of water in them isn't fun. I'm happy to argue with you. People who know stuff are the best to argue with. I need knowledgeable cult members. The joining fee is only $100. Mqurice PS: And what's c.bs too? When knowledgeable, it's best to minimize jargon use and especially acronyms because it shows lack of confidence and use of smoke screens in an endeavour to hold a commanding position. Especially, one should NEVER say "don't argue with me". That's what priests and other fakers do. Re the greenhouse effect, the evidence is consistent with my theory too. But there are theory adjustments happening in the greenhouse crowd to match the evidence. Now they are adjusting their models downwards to explain the lack of heating - it was supposed to be more. "Okay, it's not as much as we thought but at least there's a bit. We think. Well, we hope anyway."
