I have a schwab account already, I may move half of my account over to schwab now and then open a scottrade account next.

I almost never do limit orders. I know that seems odd, but since I am not really a daytrader, I don't sweat the nickles and dimes. But I do require fast executions. Something that Merrill sucked at. Another thing that Merrill sucks at is that they don't update your cash/account balance/funds available until about 2am pacific time. Schwab always did it immediately. As long as I was getting the unlimited trading at Merrill, I was willing to put up with the other substandard service. Now there simply is no reason to do business with them.

BTW: Beautiful day here in SoCal, I am in the backyard watching JXN having pool day for all of his animals (the pandas are in the plastic bin filled with water at the moment, the elephants already had their turn).
