Well, if it will make you feel any better, now the Conservatives have the same 'help' in forming opinions via Fox News. "Fair and Balanced" has got to be one of the great twists of our times.

I remember years ago when I would peruse the newspaper from front to back. Every week, you could find a story about some railroad accident buried on page 9 or so. All of the sudden, there was a sudden spark of interest in railroad accidents, and the same news that used to be on page 9 was suddenly on page 1. It appeared to the casual reader that there was a rash of railroad accidents, when in fact it was just another way of selling newspapers.

In southern ca, it has reached a ridiculous stage. Car chases are regularly televised, to huge ratings. Bozos see the attention, and join in the 'fun'. Pathetic.
