Hi all,

It looks like we have a couple of responsible Central Bankers in the world. Canada and Australia have recently raised their rates. Maybe they are trying to control inflation. <g>

Do you think the commentators were making too much of that stumble out of the starting gate?

Also, people have been saying all along that War Emblem might have problems going beyond a mile and quarter. I guess he was already fading by that point, but then he dropped like a spent rocket.

I don't know a darn thing about horses or racing but I did turn on the TV at just the right time and by the time it was over I found I had eaten most of stale bag of Fritos. Very exciting race. I may have to take this stuff up. Problem is there's not a decent track within 500 miles of where I live.
