C-SPAN did a special on Ms. Rand a few weeks ago, and followed up the next week with one on Whittaker Chambers Two interesting people. The worst review that "Atlas Shrugged" ever got, that tore the book apart and hated the ideas in it, was written by Whittaker Chambers and published in "National Review." IMO, Chambers hated her because he was a true "Conservative" and recognized that Rand was not a conservative, although thought one by people who did not understand the difference. Yeah, the three questions of life, which are supposed to answered by Philosophy. 1) Where am I? The study of Metaphysics, the nature of the Universe. 2) How do I know it? The study of Epistemology, the study of the nature of knowledge. 3) What should I do? The study of Ethics, the nature of man.
