large American businesses are going to be widely hated and distrusted by the citizens of America, that is not a good outcome."

Ihave seen no evidence that corporations are going to do anything to engender the trust of us plebes now or in the forseeable future. Remember the energy crises in CA and how the big oil companies managed to shut down the independents? There used to be a lot more gas stations. In their stead, superstations sprang up. The land the little guy owned got bulldozed over and a pizza hut was built there. Then environmentalists came along and said, hey this land is contaminated. I think it's called progress when the corner store disappears, the corner gas station goes, the small farmer is forced out of business. To see that there would not be too many people for the fewer jobs, folks were encouraged to use birth control or seek abortions, except the Mexicans from south of the border swarmed in. With new border patrols, will there be fewer illegals? Idoubt it. Does Bush care? Who knows. Hey, does he have any dealings with Pemex?

Just some random thoughts.

Karen.
