Hilarious - 1947 CIA budget is still secret.

Sure, they don't want the American people to know the extent Harry Truman initiated the militarized peacetime economy.

So, only the USSR knew. Better our enemies know our secrets, than the people.

Maybe it's the fear that the massive invasion of American society by CIA and other intel groups would be opposed if Americans knew what they were really paying for.
