That's what she told me, cholera in Texas back in the 60s. Some of the kids, all at the same school, got it.

We had a huge typhoid scare here a little while back. One whole family came down in one of the foreigner-dominated housing areas came down with it. Fed Ex got wind of it and ordered that all their pilots and their families be subjected to a screening test to determine if they'd been exposed. Every one of them came back positive. Total hysteria, accusations everywhere, popular restaurants boycotted. It turned out that they'd all been vaccinated, and that the vaccinations were causing positive reactions on the exposure test. Much flap over nothing.
