Hi LindyBill; Re Bush going to Iraq. Why not, but it will be as a guest, not as an invader. By the way, here's an analysis of why we didn't go to Baghdad the last time, from the Rand Corporation:

A short quote from the above very long article: "In Schwarzkopf’s view, any occupation would have proved protracted: “Had we taken all of Iraq, we would have been like the dinosaur in the tar pit—we would still be there.”30"

Re: "It may be this Winter, but it will happen." Just a few months ago the conventional wisdom was that it was going to happen this year. Late this year, the conventional wisdom will put the invasion off again.
