John, that only makes sense doing the high populated areas 1st to get the greater % of customer gains. At least least Fiber/Coax plant doesn't have the distance limitations that DSL (15000ft) has.

Actually in my neighbor hood they installed a "fat" copper coax. They just do not want to make the investment in the required headend equip. except in very densely populated places.

Doesn't it make sense to go first where the money is?
