Even if the Palestinian people are desirous of giving up the jihad to destroy Israel (a dubious proposition), it is what their dictators and mullahs say (and intend) that really counts. Frankly, it is questionable that the Arab "street" really has any objection to living under dictatorships/monarchies. Westerners always "project" that other cultures share our beliefs. They don't, in the main.
