Peter, some have done much more than Tony in notifying the proper authorities regarding fraudulent acts, and have done so without the allegations of paying off an FBI agent or commiting extortion. It is important that those charges are not left out of the arguments.

One has crossed over the line from being a shorter, to being a criminal, if the allegations are true.

As a shorter have you commited extortion?
Have you paid off anyone to get info from the FBI database?
As a shorter, would you? I do not believe you would, nor would I...

Now an enormous prosecutorial effort is expended against Amr Elgindy, a person who influences stock prices in the downward direction, a person who loudly exposes true facts.

This is the basic injustice that I perceive.

Peter, i enjoyed reading your post.
especially this part:

"Almost all of this is perpetrated by company insiders or others who try to push a stock up. Calling them longs is incorrect, as generally they are selling stock."

Yep, them long and strong guys, adamant that their position, is the correct position.

What's really fun, is when you inquire as to whether or not they are registered, and ask them to post a disclosure if they are.

Poof...farts in a 90mph wind, have a hard time keeping up with them!

As far as Mr. Elgindy is concerned, if he did the crime...he does the time. I have no opinion regarding what he is either accused of doing, or what he may have actually done. After watching the OJ trial, imo anything is possible.

One thing for sure, the level of intensity regarding for or against A&P, sure does make for some interesting reading.

best regards
