You know that might be part of the problem
I click through posts very fast
I don't spend any time writing them either
and I almost never do "research"

If I had to work it like that it wouldn't be any fun

E for example thought I was threatening her
but
I was thinking about Who Let the Dogs Out and imagining E as a pit Bull
and that I would enjoy someone chewing on HER for a while
it was merely amusing

Clearly she didn't think so
but I really am not going to let that worry me

Contrary to popular misconception, it takes very little time and is, more often than not, quite useful.

I also noticed one interesting thing X, JC, and I almost never spend time writing long posts assembling a large group of past messages to try to make some point. Every time you do this it amazes me that somebody would take SI so seriously to spend the time necessary to do that.
It isn't necessary if you are dealing with people who don't constantly try to twist and rewrite history.

It is if you are.
