You're right about that aspect of the 50's and NO, I'm not saying things were perfect then. I know our world to be evolving so even the notion of "going back" is silly to me. I'm talking about where we are, where we're headed, and what is driving us. BTW, you're talking to a guy who's father served 5 days in a French brig for beefing with waiters who would not serve a fellow black American soldier who risked their lives to free those very ingrates from the Third Reich. I wear NO racial baggage but good try. Martin Luther King Jr and others instilled a dream in millions that had been stamped out by years of your 'good times'.
