I'm not surprised at all; what you say is all very true, but they are not the ones who built in religious freedom. Most of the founders were either Christians or recognized Christianity as a stable platform on which to build a nation. And before you start: Slavery, and inhuman conditions inflicted on others are an abomination and have nothing whatsoever with what Jesus taught, except how to survive it. the extent to which non-Judeo-Christians built this country.
