I live in the real world. Come visit some time.

We need to find some equilibrium in the world. We cannot afford to garrison the entire world. We need to reserve our forces to respond to situations that develop now, not that ended more than 50 years ago.

Btw: I believe we have forces in Germany because it is a good central staging group, and the Germans don't seem to mind our presence. Not because Germany is in some danger that we must defend against.
