What ever departures people touting Christian principles to achieve their political ends have been more than made up for by the good done by other Christians. You have to look at what Christ taught and how it is being implemented today, not go after everybody who deviated from that.

What are we doing RIGHT NOW. That's important. In America, freedom is alive, slavery is dead -- because Christians made it that way.
