I simply meant that Christianity is not the prevalent force that it once was. Many Christians accept this readily. You and Prolife do not. At least, not yet.

America is a melting pot. In prior generations, it was many ethnicities, but predominately Christian. Today, it includes many more religions. Back then, there were those who would never accept the concept of a melting pot. I guess there are still some of those backward thinkers today.

Michael, let's take our morals and move to a nice little state, like the Mormons did and prove that this is still a republic, (not a democracy), which incidentally allows for for a greater diversity of freedoms than a mobocracy.

Judeo-Christian ethics/morals survived because they were institutionalized AND they worked well with our basic rights and freedoms. They also worked well with capitalism, which is the kind of economy that evolved in the US. There is nothing perfect about all this synergy, it just seems to be the natural preference of free people. A king or a dictator could grant and subtract freedom at will eventually and eventually they were unable to maintain power or prosper.

Back of the 'buss,' Michael Cummings?

The more frequently the staunch RWEs post here, the more revealing of your ignorance...in the simplest of ways.
