With a Democrat in the White House, the choice was clear for the media -- make it look good, but have nothing come of it. Now, with a Republican there (even though it is getting hard to tell the difference), there may just be enough old hate that they will screw up big time and lose their focus on the big picture -- that of keeping the stock market up and the dollar strong. If they bring the heat and light too much on Cheney and the White House, they risk confidence implosion. The powers that be are kind of caught in the same tug-o-war that Greenjohns is --- damned if they do and damned if they don't. You can fool some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time, but if you grill your Bratwurst too long, you'll eventually end up with a beanie weenie. I remain, $ORO$ p.s. Buy some gold and flame the fire for "Dicks and Greenweenies".
