I have read several interesting books lately
I just finished The Woman and the Ape- by Hoeg ( he wrote Smilla's Sense of Snow)- has anyone else read it? Very interesting- love to talk to someone else about it. While I Was Gone was good, and I also really enjoyed My Dream of You. Am reading Wally Lamb- I Know This Much Is True, right now. Half way- it is very good

Had you not been do ill-bred as to make admiring reference to something for which you had recently issued an abject apology, the subject would be closed.

As it stands, your own behavior raises anew questions about your honesty and integrity.

You ain't EVER going to 'become good' on SI, asshole.

There are some of us who will hound you to the gates of hell and back.

Did you see, Poet, that E claimed that we have no relationship?

How wrong she is.

We've had a relationship for years, now, and we still have one.

Sometimes it's been very strong, sometimes it's been a bit strained, sometimes it's been
rocky. Right now we're going through one of the rocky periods. I recognize that. But
that's okay. Ups and downs happen in all relationships.

I understand that for a while, at least, you're choosing to talk to me through others,
indirectly, rather than posting to me directly, and that's okay. I understand that it'll take
some time for us to get back on track. But we can work on it. Meanwhile, it's okay with
me if you want to keep communicating through others for the time being. It doesn't hurt
my feelings. >>
