No argument from me about the ubiquity of IP.

The problem for IP with SANs is performance. Fibre channel moves data in blocks, not packets like IP does. It doesn't do a hard drive any good to have data arriving out of sequence, so at some point the IP data has to be reassembled and converted to SCSI or whatever.

XAU pullbacks to 75-80 are likely to result in consolidation for next move up to 100+ area. Watch for the big bounce off of the lower long term trend line.
Yesterday was good time to buy the gold stocks.
