Assuming you pay $10,000 a year in federal income tax, you are this year giving $11.00 to the third world. Don't you feel generous? Re: I would definitely want some of my tax dollars to go to that cause. I would conclude that $11.00 qualifies as "some". Re: I would also like to see a large portion go towards defense, both here and abroad. A good 50% of your income tax goes to the war rackets crowd. So, your contribution is $5,000 to the murder machine this year. Think of it it this way, of your money the government has spent on Afghanistan over the last year, about $0.35 has gone to humanitarian aid, and $50.00 has gone to murdering them.
