Things have sure changed since I was quoting the Little Red Book. Though I do recall the adolescent female response to the Liverpudians in the mid '60's being an almost incomprehensible groupthink hysteria.

BTW, one of the very few Malaysian words that has ever been incorporated into English derives from the description of these immature female adulators in hysterics. They are said to have run amok.
