Thanks for the clarification. I was confused by the constant references to Black-Scholes. (Speaking of which, I can't claim to be an expert, but I have never found the mathematics behind that formula convincing, and given that one of the authors was involved in the collapse of that options trading company, I think that there might be grounds for my skepticism.)
