Re Guam - Yes, they have brown snakes that have pretty much wiped out a rare bird called the Guam Rail which has the only remaining population on the Air Force Base since we are all taught when we get there to kill any snakes we see.

The snakes are so bad that they regularly curl up in the power transformers to get warm and end up knocking out power on the island.

That is the only place where I had to make sure and wind up my back up alarm clock every night since the power would go off at least twice a week. -gggg-

Of course the snake was not from there origianlly and was brought to the island on a ship where it found a home with no natural predators and took over. Kind of like clowns and analysts in a bull market. -gggg-

Good Luck,

Lee
